June Adventures(2024)

Hello summer! I am enjoying the sun and creating in it! June is always a busy social month for me, so not as many projects, but I’m here to show you the few that I did finish!

June is a busy month normally for my family and I due to my sisters and I having birthdays on the 10th, 20th, and 22nd! But this year was even more busy due to one of my sisters graduating high school and a wedding at the end of the month! It has been a great month of celebration and love! I’ve had so much fun with all the events and family, but I am looking forward to a quieter July!

In June, I did a good amount of sketching! I did some pattern sketching with doodling and zentangle. I did a lot of work like this when I was in high school and it felt nice to fill a handful of sketchbook pages with art like this again. You can check out some of my older art in my 21st birthday post from last year, where I went down art memory lane!

This month I continued working on creating crochet earrings sets. Last month I crocheted both ice cream and cupcakes, and this month I made both into their own earring sets! They will both be joining the lower price tier at $7 each!

I also crocheted some pop covers! I crocheted both mermaid and dino covers! These are great for kids when they are eating their Otter Pops or yogurt tubes, or anything similar. It keeps them from having their hands get too cold while holding it, but also can catch some of the mess, then you just throw them in the washing machine and dryer! I really enjoyed making both of these for my little sister and my shop!

This month, adding to many other events, I babysat my 6 year old sister overnight for a few days while my sister who graduated went on a trip to visit her college with my family. While spending time with my youngest sister, we did some coloring, and I of course brought my favorite coloring book, Garden of Fairytale Animals by Kanoko Egusa! I decided to finish this sweets page that I started months ago! I have quite a few in this book that need finishing, and I hope to finish some of them this summer!
