April Adventures(2024)

Spring is in full force and we are on the way to summer already! This past month flew by! I did a good handful of creative projects in April and I am so excited to share them with you!

As many know, Taylor Swift released a pair of albums in April and though it came out mid-April, it definitely consumed my entire month! First it was the waiting, and then it was taking in all the music released! On the night of the releases I colored this coloring page while listening to all the beautifully crafted music!

April was a good month for finishing projects for my shop! I finished the group of stickers I started in March based off some of my InkTober drawings from 2023. I am so happy with how they all came out!

My favorite has to be the one I made based off my Boston Terrier named Leo! He is such a foodie and was such a fun sticker to make!

I also finished new greeting cards to celebrate Mother’s Day and Teacher Appreciation week! I am really enjoying creating greeting cards, and I look forward to working on some for Father’s Day coming up!

I wanted to create some designs that could be used for more occasions than Mother’s Day and Teacher Appreciation week, so these designs can hopefully be used for any time you want to thank a woman in your life or celebrate her!

I am really getting into making jewelry, in particular earrings! I am still a bit new to earrings but I am really proud of the sets I have created! this month I made heart earrings! I made full heart sets and some flat heart earrings that are a but smaller than the full hearts.

I also put together a card game I have been meaning to print out and play for a bit now. It is a cute Hot Pot mini game from one of my fav cozy games, Palia! During the winter event, this was a fun game to play, but when the event ended, so did Hot Pot! So a fan put together some PDFs to create this physical version! I am so happy with it and love being able to play it whenever now!

I also spent a good portion of April sketching! My fav sketch is this drawing of one of my family’s dogs named Bella. She ran away during one weekend this month and I drew it while staying up by the window waiting for her to come back. Thankfully we got her home safe and sound, so it was a happy ending with some cute art too!
